NylonLabs is run by Menzy Dillon trading as MENZEEKO (ABN 53 152 802 691), in Australia. This page says what the NylonLabs hub, its apps and this website keep about you, and why. Questions or requests: menzy@menzeeko.com.

Using NylonLabs as a Guest

As a Guest, nothing about you leaves your computer, except what you choose to send below. Your apps, files and licence stay on your PC.

Accounts

If you make an account, we keep: your username, your email address, a scrambled form of your password (we can't read it), that you said you are 16 or older, the Special Key and licence file you add, the date you made the account and last signed in, and for each PC you sign in on, a random number the hub made for that PC with the dates it was used. Your recovery codes are kept only in a scrambled form, so we can't see them either.

Why: to sign you in, to put your key and licence on the PCs you sign in on, and so we can help if you lose access (for example, by resetting your password when you ask us to).

We don't send you emails yet. Your email address is kept for when we do (account notices only) and to tell accounts apart. We don't sell or share your details, and we don't use them for advertising.

Linked accounts: later you may be able to link other accounts (such as PoachRoblox or Nylon Hosting). Nothing is linked unless you link it yourself; this page will say what is shared before that starts.

Access keys

When you add a tester key, we keep which PCs it was added on (the hub's random number for that PC), the hub version and the dates, so a key works only on the number of PCs it was given for.

Feedback reports and tester applications

A report from an app's Feedback button holds what you write, the app and its version, and a picture only if you add one. What you write, the app, its version, the date and a short anonymous tester tag (not your name or account) are shown on our public feedback page, so other testers can see what has been reported; pictures and app details are not shown there. Reports are kept on our server until we remove them, and a copy is kept on our computer in Australia. An application holds the answers on the form: it waits on our server until we download it, then is removed from it and kept only on our computer. We keep applications for 6 months after we decide, unless you become a tester.

Where it is kept

Accounts, keys and reports are kept on a server we rent from OVHcloud in Europe. Only we can reach them. Your IP address is not kept: to stop spam and password guessing, the server keeps a scrambled, temporary form of it in memory for up to a day.

Backups. We keep encrypted backups of account, feedback and key data for up to 8 weeks, on a server in Montréal, Canada. An account you delete leaves the backups within 8 weeks.

How long

Your account is kept until you delete it (Account page, Delete account) or ask us to. Deleting it removes it from our server at once. Sign-in records for a PC are replaced when you sign in again and removed when you sign out there.

Logs. Our servers keep system logs for up to 30 days. We don't keep logs of the pages you visit.

Your choices

You can use NylonLabs as a Guest, without an account. You can see and change your details on the Account page, and ask us at any time to see, correct or delete what we hold: menzy@menzeeko.com.

Accounts are for people 16 or older.
